As part of a proactive and on going effort to improve performance, stability, and security, VPLS system engineers will be performing firmware upgrade to storage arrays.  No downtime is expected. A high priority risk has been identified. In specific circumstances on array with deduplication and encryption with active opertaions, creating and deleting volumes can potentially lead to repeated data service restarts, a complete array outage, and/or unexpected behavior.

Overview:
VPLS will be performing a  maintenance to roll out patch updates to storage array infrastructure. These maintenance changes are part of critical infrastructure upgrades and are designed to provide increased availability, connectivity, security and performance.
 
Impact:
There's no expected downtime.
