The Sacramento datacenter is prepared in the event of a power failure with 4 caterpillar diesel generators equipped with 16,000 gallons of fuel storage. Each 16 cylinder generator is fully redundant and kept at 120 degrees to ensure a faultless start within 13 seconds of a power outage. Along with the facilities diesel engine generators, the datacenter is also equipped with N+2 battery packs that can operate the entire datacenter in excess of the time required for the generators to power on.
Security is extremely important to Krypt. We make sure our Sacramento datacenter is fully staffed with security professionals to prevent unauthorized access 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The datacenter's security team makes use of the 72 pan and tilt enabled surveillance cameras to keep a watchful eye on every corner of the facility. The facility also comes equipped with badge readers, pin pads and biometric devices to help track the whereabouts of staff and authorized individuals.
