Krypt's iSCSI storage system offers 100% redundancy

Through the use of mutlitple redundant storage shelves. Unlike a Fibre Channel solution, iSCSI allows the host computer to reside in any one of datacenters and access the storage shelves at Gigabit Ethernet speeds. Our iSCSI storage differs from a NAS as the drive is mounted as a low-level device instead of accessing a file sharing resource. Krypt's SAN also offers secure file storage with the use of CHAP authentication and dedicated private VLAN's so bandwidth transfers are internal only and not counted against your monthly transfer.

Krypt SAN Storage is available for all servers classes from Core2Duo's to Xeon based servers. All SAN storage packages come with a dedicated Gigabit Ethernet card and private VLAN setup. Additional storage space can added on the fly with the addition of another mounting point. Our storage shelves use RAID5 technology as well as cross shelf replication between other SAN storage shelves.
